Growing up I was a competitive athlete, I loved being a part of a team and pushing myself to get better. After college I started training for distance running but quickly got bored.
After much protest that CrossFit was not in fact a sport, therefore a waste of my time, a friend dragged me to my first CrossFit class in 2015. Despite being fit and training for marathons, my first CrossFit workout, running and burpees wrecked me, I finished last and I was hooked.
I love the people and the challenges, and the ability to modify workouts so that I can workout next to my mom and a pro athlete, allowing us all to get a fantastic workout in.
Coaching allows me to share that love with others and I am so grateful for this community.
